About Us
Both campuses of South Coast Christian College are owned and directed by the Leongatha Association for Parent Controlled Christian Education (LAPCCE).
The school was set up by a group of Christian parents who wanted Christ-centred education for their children, in a learning environment that would uphold the same values and belief systems as they provided in their own homes, so that the school could be seen as an extension of the Christian home.
The college looks at the whole child, providing for his/her educational needs in the academic, creative, social, emotional and spiritual areas where applicable, but always within a Christian framework and in harmony with the home.
The college seeks to provide a high standard of instruction in all subjects required by the Department of Education in Victoria, and also in such additional subjects as thought advisable by the school board. All these subjects are taught within a Christian theological framework.
