Parent Participation
Parental input into the school is vital at all levels.
There are many opportunities for parents to be involved including helping in the classroom, on excursions, at working bees, on committees, via Association membership and particularly with prayer.
As well as privately praying for the school community, some parents meet together once a week to pray for specific needs of the college community.
Welcome to South Coast Christian College
South Coast Christian College (SCCC) is operated by a vibrant Christ-centred Association and college leadership that promote the Christian values and direction of the college. Students are equipped for ongoing learning, Christian living and service to impact the wider community both nationally and internationally for Christ. Diligent effort and personal best are the primary reasons for recognition and reward.
The college caters for the whole child, providing for his/her educational need in the academic, creative, social, emotional and spiritual areas where applicable, but always within a Christian framework and in harmony with the Christian home.
The school was established by Christian parents who wanted a Christ-centred education for their children, in a learning environment that would uphold the same values and belief system as they provided in their own homes, so that school could be seen as an extension of the Christian home.
The college operates from campus sites in Leongatha (Prep to Year 12) & Wonthaggi (Prep to Grade 6).

- July 16, 2009 : Term 3 begins all students
- September 18, 2009 : Term 3 finish 2.20
- October 5, 2009 : Term 4 begins all students
- December 11, 2009 : Last day school
